August 6, 2024—The Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Hospice Palliative Care Association (NSHPCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Guest as Executive Director.
Guest is a highly experienced healthcare executive with more than 30 years of nursing experience and a proven track record as an innovative and experienced professional, possessing repeated success in creating new strategies, innovation, and improvement plans involving complex projects.
His career includes more than 15 years as an executive in the health systems in Alberta and Nova Scotia overseeing many programs in acute care, mental health, home and long-term care, palliative care, and public health. Most recently, he was CEO of the Canadian Nurses Association.
Guest’s hiring comes as NSHPCA implements a plan of strategic growth in grief, bereavement and emotional wellness throughout Nova Scotia.
