Toronto, ON – KBRS, one of Canada’s largest independently owned executive search and consulting firms, is pleased to welcome Jane Kidner as partner in the firm’s Toronto office.

Jane joins a team of seven partners supported by 18 research and support staff who comprise the firm’s national academic executive search practice. Over the past five years, KBRS has led more than 150 leadership searches for universities and colleges nationwide.

Jane has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in two of Canada’s largest universities, the University of Toronto and Ryerson University.

Prior to this, Jane was Assistant Dean in four key portfolios at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, delivering exceptional results in fundraising, communications, strategic planning, revenue-generating program development and relationship management.

“We are thrilled to have Jane on the team,” states Anna Stuart, Managing Partner with KBRS. “Her deep experience in identifying and hiring top performers, her practical understanding of complex university environments, and her ability to facilitate critical decision making will be strong assets in our academic search work.”

A lawyer and mediator, Jane earned a Juris Doctor J.D. degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, a Master of Law’s degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School, and has completed numerous courses in management, conflict resolution and leadership coaching.
