Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to the President and COO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play an important role in the leadership of the overall business and the execution of its strategy. As an integral member of the senior leadership team, you will have specific responsibility for the oversight of fiscal controls or overall cost management, accounting and administration, audit, budgeting, treasury, systems integration and management, payroll and benefits, and IT systems. A hands-on business and financial expert, you will ensure the company has the right structure, the right people, and the functional capabilities to achieve its strategic growth plans while safeguarding the company’s assets and financial stability. Working collaboratively with the President and COO of Seaboard and the CFO and Treasurer of Atlantic Corporation Limited, you will consistently provide reliable financial advice, accurate analysis, and good judgment while making sound recommendations upon which significant business decisions can be made.
The ideal candidate has a professional accounting designation and a post-secondary degree, combined with senior financial leadership experience, preferably within a fast-growing and entrepreneurial organization. You have a successful track record and expertise in identifying and driving value in an organization, as well as a reputation for being a trusted business advisor who can develop and executive strategic and financial plans that ensure organizational growth, development, and prosperity. You have the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment, communicate financial analytics in a clear and concise manner, and you are highly capable of leading complex negotiations. You have a strong interest in overall business operations and you are a big-picture thinker who is comfortable and effective working both at a strategic and a tactical level. Experience with acquisitions, including due diligence, planning and integration is a must.
