Academic Search Consultant – Executive Search

Now, we are seeking an Academic Search Consultant to join our firm and play a key role in our growing national academic search practice.

As an Academic Search Consultant, you will interact directly with clients, design and lead recruitment projects, coach and assess candidates, and develop innovative strategies to attract and appoint leaders for executive positions in the post-secondary sector. You will develop a deep understanding and network in Canada’s post-secondary sector and play a key role in our national academic executive search practice team. You will contribute to marketing strategies and to ensuring best practices in recruitment and candidate assessment. With the development of your expertise and networks, you will assume progressive responsibility for academic executive search projects and for the development of new client relationships and new service offerings.

As the ideal candidate, you have a natural ability to connect with people and develop rapport quickly. You thrive in fast paced, project-based environments and are well-versed in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. You excel at thinking on your feet and coming up with ‘outside the box’ ideas. You are a superb verbal and written communicator and have a proven ability to learn quickly and provide guidance to others on the team.

Your natural curiosity means you will dig deep to understand client needs, and your strategic mindset allows you to develop creative solutions and ideas to deliver exceptional results. Previous experience in the post-secondary, public or consulting sectors and a graduate degree, would be considered a strong assets.
