Vice-President, Property and Asset Management

Reporting to the President and COO, the Vice-President, Property and Asset Management will provide strategic leadership and guidance to the asset management, information and communications technology, facilities maintenance and support services teams across the organization. The Vice-President, Property and Asset Management will also oversee the project management of renovations, capital improvement projects, and work with operating partners to create operating budgets and business plans related to infrastructure and assets. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice-President, Property and Asset Management will work closely with the operational, finance, design and construction teams. The role contributes to the strategy, growth, profitability and sustainability of the Business with a focus on new business development, maintenance of current facility assets and environmental sustainability.  

As the ideal candidate, you bring a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in construction, development or asset management and have earned a degree in a discipline relating to engineering or business. You are a results-oriented, self-motivated and driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and seeks to maximize efficiencies through well-developed policies, procedures, and a clear business strategy. You have a history of successfully implementing creative initiatives that have a clear impact on overall operational performance. Throughout your career you have developed expert knowledge of building systems and construction and have a proven track record of effective leadership within a growing and developing business. Safety and quality are your top priorities and inform every decision you make. You have exceptional financial and organizational skills which afford you the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands. You are an excellent communicator and negotiator and are experienced at fostering strong and beneficial relationships with internal and external partners.
