As a Senior Consultant and certified coach with Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, Michele Bedard brings a wealth of knowledge in career transition. Her calm demeanor as well as her superb communication and problem solving skills enable her to develop a strong rapport with her clients and support them in realizing their career goals.
Before pursuing a career in coaching over a decade ago, Michele gained invaluable professional experience in the private, non-profit and public sectors. Her approach to career transition is informed by her own experiences as a teacher, leader, manager, executive director of a shelter for abused women and their children, executive assistant to a provincial Minister, and program consultant with the Department of Social Development supporting the delivery of child welfare services. Through Michele’s extensive and diverse career she has come to recognize the importance of relationships and the value of listening to people with respect and non-judgement.
Michele is a certified Professional Co-Active Coach from the Coaches Training Institute and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick.
Michele is passionate about helping people embrace change and seeing the positive aspects within change. She focuses on wellness and living a life that gives her joy and purpose. Her favourite motto is “Be the change you seek. Nothing changes if nothing changes”.
