An energetic and engaging facilitator, solutions-driven consultant,  and insightful leadership coach, Heather has helped hundreds of leaders and professionals engage teams and maximize performance in Canada and beyond.  Don’t let that energy fool you; she is an attentive listener with the ability to ask the right questions to stimulate dialogue, uncover obstacles and drive success.

As a Senior Consultant, Heather can easily switch hats to deliver distinctive leadership, career and HR solutions. She attributes this ability to her over two decades in leadership, entrepreneurial and strategic HR roles in the insurance, IT, healthcare and financial industries. Heather's hands-on business experience helps her connect with her clients and create long standing relationships based on trust and exceptional service.

Being a coach, Heather has a deep curiosity about her clients and their organizations. She has a passion for helping leaders create environments that inspire collaboration, creativity, and innovation.  Heather knows that the leaders of today must, first and foremost, be true leaders of people to deliver business results and ensure sustainability.

Heather is passionate about learning and has completed her Master of Employment Relations from Memorial University, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa, coach training with Adler International Learning, is a Certified HR Professional with IPMA and is a member of the International Coach Federation.  This commitment to life-long learning, coupled with ‘in the trenches’ experience, allows her to translate academic theory into relevant, impact driven solutions for her clients.

Coming from a family committed to giving back, Heather is dedicated to contributing her time for the betterment of her community and her profession.  She recently completed a 6 year term on the board of the YMCA Northeast Avalon where she helped to initiate and support the building of a new facility in St. John’s. She continues to strongly support the work of this organization.  Her passion for HR and learning inspired Heather to head the Professional Development portfolio for the International Personnel Management Association in Newfoundland for 6 years, ensuring progressive and relevant learning and financial viability for its members.

When not with her family at the Y, Heather and her husband love exploring Newfoundland by bike, trail, and sail and look forward to sharing these experiences with their young daughters Sophie and Anna.
