Cathy is a skilled administrator and a passionate community leader with more than thirty years of professional and volunteer experience. Most recently, she was the General Manager of Halifax City Soccer Club and Program Administrator at Soccer Nova Scotia, and possesses a wealth of experience with non-profit organizations and community projects. From leading school programs to building playgrounds and chairing national events, Cathy brings time and project management skills, as well as experience with stakeholder relationships, to her role with KBRS.
A graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University, Cathy’s extensive volunteer experience has included roles as Director of Governance on the Board of Soccer Nova Scotia, Vice President of the Halifax District Soccer Association, President of the Metropolitan Indoor Soccer League, and a builder of the BMO Soccer Centre in Halifax. A passionate advocate for women and minorities in amateur sport, she was the recipient of a Sport Nova Scotia Ricoh Award and has partnered with community and non-profit groups to provide a variety of programs for youth both on and off the soccer field.
In her spare time, Cathy enjoys her four children, flamenco dancing, and continued community involvement.
