Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette is pleased to announce that Peter Clarkson, Senior Consultant and career transition professional, has become the provincial lead of the Firm’s career transition practice in New Brunswick. Located in Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette’s Moncton office, Peter will play a key role in the delivery of career transition services across the province.

“Peter has been working with our team to provide support to our career transition clients for several years on a project basis – counselling both individuals who have lost their jobs and the organizations that must let an employee go,” stated April Howe, Partner with Knightsbridge Robertson Surette and Career Transition Practice Leader. “Clients appreciate his market insight and practical advice. And, we are thrilled that Peter will be taking a more hands-on roll in our business.”

Peter’s approach and counsel is informed by his 25 years of professional experience as a consultant, an entrepreneur, a manager, a coach and a business leader in the IT, financial services and career transition industries.

Peter has worked with individuals in career transition for more than 5 years – through his own private practice and as an associate of Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge, a global leader in career transition and leadership development. When Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette acquired Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge Atlantic Canadian operations in May of 2015, Peter joined the team.

“Peter will continue to work closely with our wider Atlantic Canadian team - the more than 60 professionals practicing in the areas of executive search, recruitment, HR consulting, as well as career transition,” said April. “With professionals specializing in every stage of an individual’s professional journey – from getting the job and developing one’s talents to finding a new career opportunity – our clients benefit from the collective knowledge and experience we’ve gathered since our Firm was established more than 40 years ago.”

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University, achieved PMP designation and holds a Strategic Intervention Coaching certification from Robbins-Madanes Training. With a long track record of contributing to the community, his past roles have included past Chair of the Amherst NS YMCA and Chair of the Small Business Committee for the Moncton Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active volunteer and Field Team Leader with the Tri County Ground Search & Rescue.
