CMA Canada has named Joe Moore as a Fellow of The Society of Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA). Joe Moore is a Partner of Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette and leader within the Firm’s career management and career transition practice.
The FCMA is a prestigious, national honorary designation that is awarded to CMAs who demonstrate excellence in management accounting, a commitment to the CMA designation and their professional association, and a civic-mindedness that enriches their community.
In addition to his exemplary work over the past 20 years with Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, Joe is a strong community contributor. He has served as a board member of Prescott Group and has volunteered with the IWK Children’s Hospital and the Grace Hospital. In 2011, Joe was elected to the CMA Nova Scotia Board. Currently the secretary-treasurer, Joe is now the incoming Chair of CMA NS.
Joe is one of only 2 people in the CMA Nova Scotia Society who have been assigned the FCMA designation this year. Natalia Kochetova-Kozloski, PhD, CMA, FCMA, an Associate Professor, Accounting with the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University has also been recognized. Joe is the second member of the Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette team to receive the designation, with Anna Stuart, Partner with the Firm, receiving the designation in 2012.
