Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette is pleased to have assisted HGS Canada with the recruitment of Freda Stolz as the Vice President, Human Resources.

An accomplished HR leader, she excels in forging collaborative relationships to enhance operational effectiveness and in developing strategies to promote engaged and high performing teams.

Ms. Stolz has held progressive leadership roles in human resources over the past 17 years within the service, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. Previously, she was the Head of Human Resources (Canada Region) for Gate Gourmet one of the world’s largest airline catering firms. Before this, she gained a broad range of experience as an HR Leader working in several outstanding organizations, from a Fortune 500 company to an iconic Canadian-owned multinational. She has served as Human Resource Director with Aimia Inc., Pharmascience / A.R. Medicom Group, McCain Foods Canada, Solectron Global Enclosures and Wire Rope Industries.

Ms. Stolz holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from McGill University and a Diploma in Communication Studies from Concordia University. A Certified Human Resource Executive (Ontario) and a Certified Human Resource Associate (Québec), Ms Stolz is currently Co-chair of the CHRO Council for the Human Resources Professional Association of Toronto.
