Experiencing significant growth in our Consulting Practice across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland, KBRS is seeking a Practice & Business Development Leader based at our Head Office located in Halifax.
The Practice & Business Development Leader will manage a team of 11 Associates who together with our Partners and support team offer Leadership Coaching, Leadership Programs, Team Effectiveness, Succession & Assessment as well as HR Advisory services including Compensation consulting, HR Policy review and development, organizational re-design, facilitation and strategic planning.
In this diverse and challenging role, you will lead the Consulting Practice and contribute to the growth strategy and success of KBRS. You will ensure that we are bringing to market innovative, high-impact programs and services that align with the evolving needs of our clients, and that we have the people and processes needed to develop and deliver exceptional programs and services. You, with the team you lead, will work closely with new and existing clients to assess needs, lead business development and create meaningful and sustainable client relationships. You will balance your time between driving revenue growth, managing and cultivating the team of consultants, overseeing engagements to ensure quality and providing leadership and guidance to the entire organization on all things related to Consulting services.
The Practice & Business Development Leader will also work closely with LHH KB to stay connected and current on their new programs, leverage their intellectual property and connect our team with training and support to deliver programs. You will be the main point of contact for all referrals to and from LHH KB for work in the Consulting Practice.
As the ideal candidate, you bring several years’ leadership experience in a management consulting or human resources/talent management solutions consulting environment, underpinned by significant consultative sales and business development experience at senior levels in both the public and private sector. You have the proven ability to develop teams, build infrastructure, and significantly grow revenue in a complex, matrixed environment. You bring a demonstrated track record of initiating and managing large team-based client engagements to senior executives through both competitive RFP processes and consultative, sole-sourced relationship sales. Specific project experience in selling/developing/delivering leadership and talent management strategies would be ideal.
