Regional Chief Technology Officer

Lead technology strategies for enhancing business performance and client service.

You will have the opportunity to define this new strategic leadership role with one of Atlantic Canada’s most respected firms.  As Regional Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will ensure that present and future technologies support the smooth operation, growth and development of the organization.

Reporting to the CEO, you will develop a technology strategy that identifies objectives, sets priorities and allocates resources. As CTO, you will oversee the network and computer systems infrastructure, including technology acquisition.  You will tap into your exceptional business acumen and enterprise-wide perspective to facilitate I.T. to empower an even closer communication and co-operation among staff.  As CTO, you will lead your team by example and be a champion of client service.  You encourage performance metrics and innovation.  Functioning as a business leader, you complement your strategic thinking with hands-on project management and practical advice to the firm’s professionals and support staff.

As the ideal candidate, you have grown your leadership credentials over the past ten years as a member of a senior leadership team.  Adept at managing people, priorities and budgets, you are practical and apply sound business rationale to fix problems, create efficiencies, and choose systems which allow the team to perform their work in the most effective manner.  While you are experienced in directing an I.T. operation, you do not get lost in the technicalities of a role and are able to use your strategic leadership and business acumen to communicate and deliver on a vision of excellence. Confident, articulate and adaptable, you can make a major contribution to the firm’s high performance culture and continuing success.  This position can be based in one of several Atlantic Canadian locations.
