Oakhill Recovery, their newly established recovery centre for women only, also offers a beautiful and secure environment, comprehensive therapy, private and semi-private rooms, medical and psychological consultations, and aftercare training, with a staff compliment that are passionate about creating a safe space for women to explore their own transformations.
Ledgehill and Oakhill are now seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join their qualified team of individuals, who are passionate about helping their clients overcome addictions.
Reporting to the Program Director, the Nurse Supervisor is responsible for utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide holistic care to clients and their families. Managing the coordination and direction of nursing care, the Nurse Supervisor provides clinical knowledge, skill, and judgement needed to deliver competent client care as well as team leadership in particularly complex cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care plan in of the client and staffing and will work collaboratively with other members of the dynamic team to provide nursing care for clients.
As the ideal candidate, you have demonstrated clinical and leadership skills, preferably in a addiction/mental health nursing role. Your communication and interpersonal skills lend well to your sensitive and thorough approach of working with clients. You have critical thinking and problem-solving skills which show as a strength as you work with differential addictions and mental health. As the ideal candidate, you are able to work independently and also in a team oriented environment to ensure clients have a holistic treatment experience. As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and are currently registered with, or are eligible to be registered with, a relevant provincial body. A Master’s degree in Nursing, Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing, or another related field would be considered an asset.
