Country Manager

An exceptionally innovative international company, our client is currently looking for a Country Manager to lead the organization’s Canadian operations. With exciting projects on the horizon, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of this progressive organization.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Country Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the growth and profitability strategy and managing projects from the initial inquiry stage through to site development and operational deployment. As the company’s primary point of contact within Canada, you will build and manage effective working relationships with clients, partners, regulatory bodies and all associated stakeholders and hold accountability for all P&L.

As the ideal candidate, you have a background in engineering with least 10 years of experience as a senior leader within an energy, oil & gas or other relevant industry, along with demonstrated business, operations and financial acumen. You are strategic in your approach and are known as a creative leader with superior communication and relationship building skills. You are unwavering in the face of pressures and challenges and have a proven ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and clearly articulate and implement a successful business strategy.  You have a track record of successful action plan implementation and can effectively balance an appropriate level of risk with opportunities. Your problem solving and decision making skills are second-to-none and you can identify, understand, and anticipate evolving needs and priorities. While a professional engineering designation is required for this role, a solid understanding of business processes, finance and project management is also essential.
