Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications, the Manager, Enterprise Technology is responsible for developing recommendations for future planning, design & continuous operation of the highly available and complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) services (systems, ERP processes, and people) for the entire organization and at all campuses. These technical services include Student Information System (SIS), Financial Information System (FIS), Operational Data Stores (ODS) and the Human Resources Management System (HRMS), associated databases, third party applications, locally built “bolt ons”, CRM Admissions (MS Dynamics), Cognos, ERP integrations and ERP disaster recovery. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and recommending the technology architecture, technology plans, and operations for all ERP infrastructure services in both on premise and cloud environments. He/she will lead a team of highly skilled and specialized technical staff to execute the overall enterprise applications technology plan and will work in collaboration with internal clients and peers to deliver on Humber’s overall mission, vision, and strategy.
As the ideal candidate, you bring IT leadership experience from a large, complex organization, in an enterprise IT environment, coupled with a degree in information technology management or a related field. Your technical background gives you the foundation needed to understand complex systems but it is your broad business acumen, team leadership skills, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that have enabled your success throughout your career. A natural leader, you have proven your ability to effectively inspire, engage and build loyalty and confidence within your team.
