Labour Relations Manager


Advise on labour, employment, human resource and rights issues.

As Labour Relations Manager, you’ll join a large, highly valued legal and HR team and work closely with the Director of Labour Relations and business unit leaders.  An accomplished L.R. professional, you will contribute to the design and implementation of effective collective bargaining costing models and participate in bargaining sessions.  With your legal training, you will support management in grievance and arbitration processes, union negotiations, and the management of collective agreements.  Advise on the development of employment policies and practices that reflect the company’s culture and promote positive employee relations.  Stay current with all existing and emerging employment legislation to ensure the corporation is consistently compliant across jurisdictions.  Help to align business and labour strategies in pursuit of optimum organizational performance.


With labour or industrial relations experience in a multi-unit corporation, you have acquired an extensive knowledge of current labour laws, compliance regulations, employment law and HR planning.  Ideally, you have earned your LL.B focused on labour or industrial relations.  You have had exposure to collective bargaining and dispute resolution processes and are adept at devising creative and innovative solutions to workplace issues.  Here is the opportunity to join a high performance team and realize your full career potential.
